One of the first...

This tight little thing was one of the first official MIS.JAMES pieces.

      I found this crazy fabric downtown on Queen and Spadina about two years ago, picked it up and got to it. I found this design in one of my sketchbooks, retouched it a little and then sampled it to see how it would fit me. It was originally supposed to be a strapless garment, but I had these diamond straps just waiting to be put to use, and there it is :)

I wore it to the first "Freakum Dress" Party, didn't win best freakum dress but....I think gave them a bit of a run for their money. lol.

Allow me to introduce myself...

First of all, Welcome to my Blog!

My real name is Diana, but call me Didi.

So I decided to start this blog in a effort to promote myself; what I do, what my interests are, my work..etc.

I'm a new designer, so I'm really into fashion - I love going to fashion shows, designing, styling, and right now I'm actually working on my own lines - MIS.JAMES and DIDI

On the entertainment scene, I absolutely love what Toronto has to offer, so many upscale parties and quite the variety of them, I must say. I also do some model work from time to time...

Finally - Music - my second love. I'm really really, like disgustingly into music. I love me some R&B, Reggae, Hip Hop, POP, Rock...pretty much anything I can vibe to and connect my emotions to. This city has so so much creativity and talent comming out of it and I can't wait to see whose next (although I'm pretty sure everyone already knows) 

Anyway, that's my little intro. You'll learn much more about me as time passes, and I'd love love love to hear everyones feed back on my posts so don't be a stranger,
